Pretty gorgeous 24 hours at home in East Hampton. It's hard for me to believe I was an NYC resident for three years until yesterday. Daaaaamn does time fly! Resting up at home before I ship out into the mountains again until Memorial day.

Great time last night celebrating the apartment swap! Passed this place down the right way and I'm pretty stoked that the flat is staying in our nyc family.

Tebow Crime
I normally wouldn't give the Jets enough credit to discuss them here, but the move to get Tim Tebow has me dumbfounded. I understand the guy can run the football and that Tony Sporano, the Jets' new OC, liked to use the Wildcat in Miami, but wasn't the core of the problem for the Jets last year the complete circus inside the locker room and out? Mark Sanchez has his days, but the guy can't hang in the pocket, can't throw outside the numbers, gets called out by his teammates and yet the organization proceeds to give him an extension after dangling Peyton Manning in front of his face. Talk about a backhanded boost of confidence. Now you throw the most recognizable and loved player in the league into the mix and not only will Sanchez be feeling the heat, but the entire team becomes confused. With Rex Ryan steering the ship, things only get worse. It's like the Jets have decided to pair a godsend with a fat hellspawn in hopes that something in the middle will emerge. For me, this further proves that the Jets and their sheepish owner are more concerned about selling those PSL's than putting a cohesive and winning team on the field.

Happy spring!
Great day yesterday hangin out with two of my biggest homies! The champ and the champ. Champ dog Rookie and champ human Tom. I must have been feeling really inspired by the perseverance of the warrior-woman in the Hunger Games because I birdied the par 4 11th at the Montauk Downs. I haven't played since last March... golf clap please. And how about that book? I put down Game of Thrones to bang it out before the movie release and I can't get over it. If you haven't read it, put that on the top of your to-do list. Happy spring everybody.

Method Magazine recently ran an online series featuring a few of my shots from the US Open. Really into what the euro-mag does and I hope to work with them again in the future.

Model
I've had fun shooting with Kate Miller a few times as I try to teach myself how to do portraits in a way I think looks right. The girl looks like Cindy Crawford with blonde hair and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see her blowing up soon.

Summer in March
It felt like summer today in NYC. Union Square was overflowing with artists, suits, dogs, hotdogs and deadbeats. The first picture is a testament to how much talent you can find on these streets. The second is Kalina Albrecht hanging out in a mailbox. The third is me and some pretty tight graffiti.

Burton Open Wrap
The 2012 Open was one of the most fun events I've ever attended. The people were great, the vibe was fun and relaxed, and the riding was top notch. Burton put it down with two banger parties on both Friday and Saturday, highlighted by Method Man and Redman going bananas on stage. The Saturday night railjam setup was a beast and everyone was sending it. Can't wait for next year. Top to bottom : Craig McMorris, Danny Davis, Mark McMorris.

2012 US Open Halfpipe Final
Unreal pipe final. Shaun White made an appearance and took first. Last year's winner, Kazu Kokubo, rode straight down the halfpipe on his first run, took off his bib, and threw it into the crowd before he stormed off in some sort of protest. Nobody knew what was going on.
US Open Slopestyle
The first hit of slopestyle was eating people alive yesterday. Nobody landed clean until the 5th or 6th rider. Scotty Lago didn't stick it once. This guy did. Hans Mindich.

Burton US Open 2012
It's going off up here at Stratton. Big time riders, sunny skies, beautiful girls -- whatever you want. This is Danny Davis in halfpipe semi heat 1. The kid's got style that stands out from the rest, which, in my opinion, is the most important and difficult aspect of the sport to really master. Slopestyle final today in an hour or so, so stay tuned homies!

Night Call
Shot this at Atlantic beach this evening as the last of the light was fading. The colors that come out in the sky of my hometown are unfucking real.
